Army Staff Sergeant Joe Biggs, a combat veteran and two time recipient of the Purple Heart was held in solitary confinement for over TWO years awaiting trial in Washington DC. Before being wrongfully convicted he was stripped of his veteran’s benefits. Joe has a young daughter whom he adores more than life itself and if this sentence is allowed to stand this single father will not be able to witness milestones we all take for granted. His daughter will not be able to take prom pictures with her daddy nor wink at him as she walks across the stage to accept her diploma.
